Key Responsibilities
Typical activities may include:
- Supporting cyber risk assessments and security reviews
- Assisting with the development of security strategies, policies and standards
- Contributing to security architecture and system design activities
- Supporting security assurance and accreditation activities
- Researching emerging cyber threats and security technologies
- Analysing technical and business information to identify risks and opportunities
- Preparing reports, presentations and recommendations for clients
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You are likely to have:
- A degree in a STEM, cyber security, computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related discipline
- A strong interest in cyber security, technology, and digital systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to analyse complex information and develop structured solutions
- Exposure to cyber security concepts through academic study, projects, placements, internships, or self-directed learning
- Awareness of cyber security frameworks, standards, or risk management approaches
- Experience working on technical projects individually or as part of a team
- Knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, operating systems, software development, or security tooling
- Experience presenting information or recommendations to different audiences
- An aptitude for solving complex problems through logical and structured thinking
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and develop specialist cyber security expertise
- Confidence working independently while also contributing effectively within a team
- An interest in how technology can be used to solve real-world challenges
