Actica Consulting to support the UK Hydrographic Office in the modernization of its production systems
Following a rigorous selection process, Actica Consulting is pleased to announce that it has won the right to provide consultancy services to the public sector through the ICT Consultancy and Delivery Framework managed by Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for the UK public services. The framework agreement is for the next three years. It provides an EU-compliant procurement route that any public sector client can use to contract for ICT Consultancy Services.

The win is of particular significance because Actica is one of only a small number of organisations that have been appointed to work under all seven 'lots' within the framework. It will enable us to provide consultancy and delivery services to the public sector in the following areas: strategy, application, architecture, infrastructure and security.

"We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to continue to provide services to the Public through the Buying Solutions framework", says Andrew Evason, Framework Director at Actica. "It gives us the opportunity to continue to work on interesting and challenging public sector projects."

Paul Allen, Actica's Director for Public Sector business added: "It will enable us to continue to be at the forefront of transformational government. We will be able to continue to help the public sector deliver the effective and secure ICT needed to achieve the significant cost reductions that will be necessary over the next few years."
