What We Look For
We would be interested in hearing from you if you are enthusiastic, are able to think clearly and articulate difficult or challenging concepts concisely. |
| Ideally candidates will have a consistent record of achievement, have an excellent academic record (2.1 or above, probably also with a post graduate qualification) and will have worked on at least five major IS/business change programmes within central government or defence. |
| You should be able to demonstrate the practical application of IS/technical skills in two or more of the following areas: |

policy and strategy definition; |
| » |
conducting concept and feasibility studies; |
| » |
requirements capture, analysis and specification; |
| » |
business case preparation; |
| » |
information security; |
| » |
knowledge management; |
| » |
providing technical assurance and project management support; |
| » |
procurement and delivery of large IS/IT programmes in the public sector; |
| » |
OGC and other public sector best practice. |
| Ideally you will have applied these skills while working for a major consultancy or systems integrator with government and defence clients. In addition, a demonstrable capability for business development, or certification in MSP, PRINCE2, Business Analysis or similar would be beneficial. |
