all projects must be planned, and the plans must include the activities to be undertaken to ensure that the outputs are fit for purpose and meet the requirement; |

all projects will have a project director who is ultimately responsible for the successful outcome of the assignment; |

all outputs must be reviewed by an experienced consultant with knowledge of the problem domain but who is not directly involved in the work; |

the assignment manager and the project director must meet monthly (or more frequently on short assignments) to review progress and to identify any issues and actions needed; |

at the end of each assignment, or periodically on long contracts, an audit is held to identify any lessons learned, including customer feedback. |
